The 2017 seminar: Gendered Participation for Sustainable Development attracted dignitaries from government, civil society and the academia, with the wife of the Edo state governor Mrs Betsi Obaseki ably represented by the deputy speaker of the Edo state house of assembly Rt Hon Elizabeth Ativie. The national postgraduate medical college Examination Benin city centre made a courtesy call to the vice chancellor.
